COVID-19 Hits Section 6A Boys Hockey

The worldwide pandemic strikes again as two opening round games in the Section 6A boys hockey tournament have been forfeited.

Yesterday, it was announced that #8 seed Wadena-Deer Creek will have to forfeit their matchup to #9 Prairie Centre and previously, #7 River Lakes had to forfeit to #10 Breckenridge/Wahpeton.

Unfortunately, for WDC and River Lakes, their seasons come to close.

Prairie Centre advances to play Friday at #1 Little Falls. Breckenridge/Wahpeton advances to play at #2 Fergus Falls on Friday.
