Former Minnesota Twins second baseman and longtime fan favorite, Brian Dozier, has retired from the game of baseball.
Dozier played for 7 seasons in Minnesota, hitting 167 homeruns. His two best seasons came in 2016- where he hit 42 homeruns and 99 RBIs, and 2017- when he won the Gold Glove. Dozier also played for the Dodgers, Nationals, and Mets, winning a World Series with Washington in 2019.
The Twins sent out a nice send-off for Dozier, who will go down as one of the organizations best second baseman of all time.
For everything you’ve done – both on and off the field – thank you! pic.twitter.com/kekvUysm0C
