Phillips Commits to Southern New Hampshire

Max Phillips, forward for the Western Mass Chiefs and Wadena-Deer Creek grad, has committed to Southern New Hampshire University.

Phillips rounds out two years in the Eastern Hockey league with 28 goals and 28 assists in 79 games for the Chiefs.

According to the press release, Chiefs head coach and general manager Neil Breen said this about Phillips,

“He has worked incredibly hard for this opportunity at SNHU…I’m sure I speak for all of the staff when I say Max is an absolute pleasure to work with. His kindness, enthusiasm, and drive to win is infectious. We never had a doubt that Max would commit to a quality NCAA program. His work ethic and personality are engineered for success. We are thrilled for Max and his family and wish him well on his next adventure!”
